Steps to Group Discussion

Group discussions are a great way to share ideas and make decisions together. 

1) Preparation
  • Choose a Topic: Decide on the subject or problem to be discussed.
  • Set Objectives: Define the goals of the discussion. What do you want to achieve?
  • Gather Information: Collect relevant information, facts, and data about the topic.
2) Formation of the Group
  • Select Participants: Choose people who are knowledgeable about or interested in the topic.
  • Set Group Size: Ideally, have a group of 5-10 people to ensure everyone can participate.
3) Setting Ground Rules
  • Establish Guidelines: Agree on basic rules, such as one person speaks at a time, respect others opinions, and stay on topic.
